Friday Fire: Terri’s Confidence and Strength Journey

When Terri first joined GB1fitness in March 2023, she wasn’t sure if she would stick with it.
Gyms and other classes had always felt intimidating, and her confidence often got in the way.
In the past, she’d manage just a few attempts before giving up.
But something felt different this time.
She gave GB1 a chance — and what started as a big leap of faith has turned into 2.5 years of consistent training that has completely transformed her life.
Today, Terri trains 3–4 circuit classes a week, along with one-to-one PT sessions, and she has achieved something she once thought was out of reach: She is the strongest she has ever been, both physically and mentally.

Building Confidence and Community
Terri admits that confidence was her biggest barrier at the start.
But GB1fitness changed that:
“Graeme makes you feel comfortable no matter what your fitness level. He’s so knowledgeable and makes every class different and fun.”
The sessions are designed so you can work at your own pace, without pressure or judgement.
What Terri found most surprising, though, was the sense of belonging.

That community spirit has been key to keeping Terri motivated, even on the tough days.
Taking on New Challenges – Including the Wolf Run 🐺💦
Terri’s journey hasn’t just been about confidence in the sessions — she’s now brave enough to take on challenges she once thought impossible.
This year, she completed her first ever Wolf Run, a muddy, challenging obstacle event that pushes you outside of your comfort zone.
For someone who once found gyms intimidating, to now charging through mud, climbing obstacles, and running through fields alongside her GB1 teammates, it’s an incredible achievement.
It shows just how far she’s come — from self-doubt to proving to herself that she can take on anything.

Stronger Than Ever
Consistency has paid off.
Terri now says she is:
Physically stronger than she’s ever been
Mentally tougher and more resilient
Confident in herself and her abilities
And importantly — she enjoys it.
Fitness isn’t a chore anymore; it’s a part of her life that lifts her up.
