Getting Unstuck: From Home Workouts to Real Progress
Sam joined GB1fitness after feeling stuck in a fitness rut.
Years of home workout DVDs and fitness apps had helped her stay active — but it was easy to skip sessions when motivation dipped.
“It was very easy for me to talk myself out of a session when I didn’t feel like doing it. It required a lot of self-discipline.”
That all changed with one booking.
Turning up to class meant she couldn’t cancel on herself — and with that small shift, everything else followed.

Not Just a Class — A Community That Lifts You
As the weeks turned into months, fitness became more than just physical.
“Over the past few months, I feel like my life has changed — and so quickly, too.”
Like many, Sam hadn’t seen herself as someone who struggled with mental health.
But life threw challenges her way — and the consistency of training, connection, and routine became a key support.
“I might have down days, but after a class and the drive home… I usually feel a little better about things.”
It’s not just the workouts.
It’s the people.
The chats.
The shared effort.
The fact that no matter your day, you leave feeling stronger than when you arrived.

From Hesitant to Head-On — Including a Wolf Run!
In just over a year, Sam’s gone from hesitant to head-on.
Now doing 5-6 classes a week, she’s facing fears she wouldn’t have dreamed of tackling a year ago.
Including completing the Wolf Run — a muddy, cold, obstacle-filled challenge that demands both physical and mental grit.
“I would never have dreamt I’d be doing this 9 months ago.”

You’re Not Behind — You’re Just Getting Started
Progress looks different for everyone — but one thing’s true:
You don’t need to rush.
And you’re not behind.
Sam — we’re so proud of you.
Here’s to more milestones, more laughs, and more runs through mud 💙
