Nervous Beginnings and a Big First Step

When Diane first stepped into GB1fitness in Milton Keynes over a year ago, she was nervous, out of shape, and clinging tightly to the one familiar face in the room—Stuart (poor Diane 😉). Like so many others, she didn’t feel “fit enough” to join a gym. But, as we said in You Don’t Need to Be Fit to Start – You Just Need to Start, that first step is the most important one—and Diane took it.

Welcomed from Day One

From day one, she was met with smiles, encouragement, and support.

“Everyone was friendly, welcoming and encouraging,” she says.

And with Graeme’s patience and guidance, she kept showing up.

Real Progress, Real Connection

One year later, Diane is living proof that progress happens when you stay consistent. She’s stronger, fitter, and full of confidence—but perhaps most importantly, she’s built lasting friendships.

“I’ve met the most wonderful bunch of people that I can call friends,” she says. “Working out, chatting, bantering and laughing in all weathers can’t be beaten!”
