Todays Friday Fire is another edition in our 'A Spark of Change. No Shortcuts.' series, and we are once again celebrating the continuation of Tara's incredible transformation even following a huge hurdle thrown her way before Christmas.
A quick reminder of what this series is about. It’s not about before and after photos. It’s not about starting weights or dramatic reveals.
It’s about sustainability. Consistency. And building something that lasts.
Next up… Tara.
Tara’s journey began after a mini stroke.
The priority wasn’t weight loss, it was regaining her life and rebuilding confidence in what her body could do again.
Step by step, movement became part of that process.
Small efforts repeated consistently.
Since then, Tara has lost over 6 stone.
But the scale only tells part of the story.

Love for Running
Along the way she has rediscovered her love for running, something that now forms a big part of her life again.
So much so that she’s preparing to take on the London Reverse Marathon.
What really stands out in Tara’s journey is her mindset.
Not every week is smooth.
Just before Christmas she was involved in a car accident.
Training paused for a while.
Life, once again, threw a hurdle in the way.
But sustainable progress means accepting that some weeks won’t go to plan.
It means picking things back up when you can and continuing forward.
And that’s exactly what Tara has done, continuing her journey to over 6 stone lost.
As Tara puts it:
“It’s not about perfect weeks. It’s about keeping going.”
Huge congratulations, Tara.
An incredible journey so far, and the very best of luck with the London Reverse Marathon ahead.
The spark is well and truly lit 🔥
Is it now time for you to focus on yourself?
