🐺 Wolf Run 2025: Mud, Mayhem & Magic with GB1
Showers. Sunshine. Shoe-sucking mud.
That’s the short version.
The long version? Buckle up...
Yesterday, the GB1fitness crew took on the legendary Wolf Run—10km of mud, water, walls and wild team spirit. And in true GB1 fashion, we showed up with humour, hustle, and our signature motto:
Progress Over Perfection: Stronger Together.

The Mud, the Mayhem, and the Mission
It took us around 3.5 hours to complete the course. That’s three and a half hours of grit, teamwork, cold dips, and belly laughs.
The mud literally tried to pull our shoes off—multiple times.
The sun shone.
The heavens opened.
The sun came back.
Basically, it was a proper British obstacle course experience.
And every single one of us finished stronger than we started.
Chris, V & Stu: The Power Plough
These three were like our own GB1 bulldozers. Chris, V, and Stu hit every obstacle with determination and dragged, pushed, and encouraged others through like absolute machines.
Hills.
Ropes.
Trenches—nothing stopped them.
They were the front-runners and the engine room all in one.

Dennis, Jason & the Rescue Squad Moment
Dennis and Jason weren’t just conquering obstacles—they were helping everyone else do it too.
Literally.
At one point, they teamed up with Mark W to help a stuck runner from another team.
Classic GB1—our teamwork doesn’t stop at our own crew.
And then there was The Tree —the tree we thought might snap.
But didn’t. Probably because it knew it was part of GB1.
Well actually it nearly was! 🙈
Sam: Courage, Chaos & Comic Relief
Sam faced some big fears yesterday—and faced them head-on.
She pushed through every challenge with bravery and still managed to bring the laughs.
But in true GB1 comedy fashion, Mark W, who had helped her through most of the way, missed one crucial moment. As he turned around—“Where’s Sam?”—he heard the now-iconic:
“I’M DOWN!”
Cue laughter, mud, and memories.

Jen & Jenny: Wolf Run Royalty Returns
Jen and Jenny came back swinging. Their past Wolf Run experiences showed—they climbed, crawled, and led like pros.
Calm.
Capable.
And confidently muddy from the first kilometre.
A masterclass in teamwork.
Shannon’s First Wolf Run Baptism
Shannon joined the GB1 gang for her very first Wolf Run—and absolutely smashed it.
She threw herself into the challenge (and the mud) with zero hesitation.
Welcome to the tribe, Shannon.
You fit right in.

Collette: Confirming What We All Knew - Filth
We always said it—Collette was born for this.
Filthy from head to toe (and mind), laughing the whole way through, she was the mud queen we didn’t deserve but absolutely needed.

Lauren, Laura & Tara: Relentless and Ready
These three weren’t letting the course win.
Lauren, Laura and Tara teamed up and tackled every challenge like a tight-knit unit.
Every wall climbed
Every pit crossed—they stayed strong, stayed together, and got it done.

Carol & Willie: Strength Backed by Support
Carol found her fire on this course.
With Willie, her constant support, by her side, she became an unstoppable force. Every step, every climb—she kept going, proving strength comes in many forms.
And yes, we cheered every single moment of it.
Taz Being Taz: Giggles in the Grit
Taz approached the Wolf Run with her signature style: big energy and even bigger laughs.
She breezed through obstacles like they were a bouncy castle and kept us all smiling while doing it.

Mark H: First Run, Full Effort
First Wolf Run? No problem.
Mark H gave everything a try. Walls, water, trenches—he was all in.
We loved seeing him embrace every messy minute and come through like a champ.
Nikki: The Backwards Lake Dive That Stole the Show
And finally... Nikki.
Only Nikki could turn a freezing cold lake into a comedy show.
Her backwards dive into the water was dramatic, unexpected, and completely brilliant.
A fitting finish for a day full of joy, grit, and absolute madness.

GB1: Stronger Together (and Muddier Than Ever)
The Wolf Run wasn’t just a fitness challenge.
It was a team triumph.
It was the ultimate reminder of why we do what we do.
We don’t chase perfection—we chase progress.
We show up for each other.
We climb walls, cross lakes, and laugh through the muck.
We are GB1. We are Stronger Together.
And yesterday, we were Wolves.
